Default '12 5.0 vs LS2 SS *vid*

Couple friends of mine. Roll was from probably the worst spot possible for him. Mustang let out early on the dig because the road we found wasn't the best.

Good runs! Stang was obviously faster. Did LS2 ever get a decent intake mani on it?

Wtf do some of you do to make your **** under perform? That Camaro with the ls2 should've drove away and never looked back.

Yes. Got an LS6 over that garbage LS1. However, we found the problem...the TB wasn't opening all the way. So he was making that 303rwhp on about 50-60% throttle. Runs MUCH better now.

We're going to get a rematch from a better roll MPH and another dig from a better spot...possibly the track.

You're always good for a laugh. For reference, here's the same 5.0 vs a cammed LS2 GTO that made like 420rwhp (beginning of the vid):

Camaro is right about where it should be. Mustang probably makes ~410rwhp and there isn't much weight difference, and he can drive so I fail to see where the LS2 underperforms?

(please don't bother bringing up your freak of an LS6, we've heard enough about it and it's not the norm)

Was this a stock (basically) LS2 swap?

I thought on a roll that LS2 would have beat it as well

So you post up a under performing ls2 gto to make up for it.

As far as my ls6 goes.....you brought it up.

You have to remember who your talking to. Hihotalks ET when benifits or trap when benifits him. He then always forgets to mention the crap load weight he has taken out. The fact he has a faceplanted tranny.

Some ls2 owners are just too damn stupid to realize that the stock manifold is killing thier car with a cam..I put a stock unported fast 92 on my goat and picked up 31rwhp..ls2 intakes are complete garbage.

I was in Newport News but frequented VA Beach. Brent and Frank at DTP did all my tuning. I guess it's a MOPAR thing. LOL
