This would have been a better run for that ZL1...on that day

 

i guess some people just can't drive...like i stated in a different post, 12.1@117mph and a 12.3@119mph...done by people who can drive...but i agree with most of what was said above...sad times when a ZL1 is running what the stock SS is running, and yes for almost $60,000 i would be mighty pissed right about now...EVOLVE said it right, it needs jenny craig...that car outweigh's the GTR !!!!...the rear alone is twice as heavy as the one in the SS...yes i know it's a stronger unit, but come on...i too hope the next platform will correct this...and like OHIO said, that GTR was far from stock, and the ZL1 driver sucked.

 

PHantaZm...yeah that would have been closer, but a stock '13 GTR's best time that have seen is 11.1@126mph...done with an excellent driver in great conditions....even with ''ranger'' driving the ZL1 cannot beat a GTR...but that asswipe driving it sucked, the same way that other jackass with the ZR1 couldn't get out of the 12's where OHIO was racing...pitiful.

The GTR phantom posted was same place the ZR1 couldn't get out of its way. LOL..that same GTR looks.like the one I seen go low 11's@123. I haven't been back down to that track as they told me I couldn't run without a cage.

 

If I was going to buy a ZL1 it would not be for drag racing reasons. It's obvious this car was developed to handle, and it does that well. I'd like to see a race between a Boss and ZL1 on a track like Mazda or Road Atlanta...

 

Road Atlanta would be a dayum good setting!

apparently if you race the auto zl1 in drive it takes off in second gear. the only way to get it to take off in first is to manually shift it down. this may explain some discrepencies.

But that's just the 2013, right? The previous years don't come close to 125mph.

i didn't post wrong information. the GayT-R traps around 10 mph less than the zr1. either your reading and comprehension skills are a little low concerning my original post, or your butthurt went through the roof and clouded your eyes a little.
