the only thing a gtr is good at is 0-60, and that is solely because of its training wheels.
dont get so upset. if you need to have a datsun, then buy a gtr. no big deal.
but if you think a gtr traps anywhere near a zr1 you have alot to learn. hell they haven't caught the z06 on top yet.

You said to re read your post so what I did was take all of the stuff you posted in the thread. Not one mention about the ZR1 until the previous 2 posts.

i'm starting to think that too. the best they have trapped is 116-117 in a negative DA. very disappointed. i was expecting a 120 mph car.
they respond huge to mods. but stock they're slow.

gtr's don't need a good driver. oprah winfrey could pilot one to a low 11 sec pass.
they have ran low 12 passes including a 12.02. but it's the trap speed that's lacking. 117 is the highest i've seen.
apparently if you race the auto zl1 in drive it takes off in second gear. the only way to get it to take off in first is to manually shift it down. this may explain some discrepencies.

i didn't post wrong information. the GayT-R traps around 10 mph less than the zr1. either your reading and comprehension skills are a little low concerning my original post, or your butthurt went through the roof and clouded your eyes a little.

my info stands. zr1's will trap between 132-135 mph.

Where has ANY stock ZR1 trapped 135mph? Most have trouble trapping 131mph in stock form. The public school system has failed you.
That's directly from Corvetteforum. The top 3 times were done in Negative DA at MIR. Hardly the average times for a ZR1. In the end what the **** does this have to do with the ZR1.

you obviously dont know very much about cars and the 1\4 mile. not surprising coming from a gtr owner. i'm going to let you in on a little secret. the better you 60', (that is the first 60' of the drag strip, or from not moving at the light to taking off) the lower your trap speed. so the better you hook up the slower your speed will be. of if you spin a little your speed will be higher.
dont get so mad that you drive a sub par car. i'm sure you enjoy it. the are actually a great car for metro boys.
and completely stock motor zr1's have trapped 135. keep researching. google can be your friend.

I would like to see what a z06 or a zr1 would do with a similar transmission as the GTR.
