I know what you're talking about tho. I raced a integra gsr, in my old truck:
97' Z71 rcsb w/ a built 383 33" tires and 4:56's.

Surprisingly I ran away from him, (that truck ran low 14's at the track with the 33's haha)

He got pulled over simply because the cop tried to pull us both over and I just kept going and he pulled over cuz he was behind me. The cop probably radio'd to get another cop to pull me over, but I hauled *** towards the backwoods and made it out unscathed.
