500hp mirage vs 600hp s2000 well hadnt posted here in a while but here is a freindly race between me and a coworkers s2k. you sould remember him from this vid
these were 40 and 60rolls and we are both on m/t radials.
we are both at 24psi, s2k needs a trans for sure

No need to find out. There are plenty of S2000's that'll give you the bus from whatever race you want, that are out of your league. Besides that you haven't brought anything to the table, when was the last time you put a beating on a 700whp F-body from a roll?

Its too bad I still don't have my Talon. I would have loved to whoop your a$$. Oh when I sold it, I was on 38psi from 36psi and more timing. The car was around 700AWHP....get some!!!!

Your built whatever DSM will last maybe a couple months if that lol.
An s2k with proper build will hold up with 500+hp A LOT LONGER than any DSM (forged internals). Bank on it. Don't question me either..My closest buds with DSM's run the fastest times over here from ROAD RACE in Whittier, CA. They don't last very long which is why every owner moves on just like yourself lol. 38PSI?? WTF? That is small time power with that much boost. WOW.
Man... A DSM looks so fugly sitting next to an s2k.
The fastest drag s2k is sitting @ 7.5 @ 180something in th 1320. It didn't need awd to reach that (NOR sheperds racing anything lol) all while looking and sitting much prettier than a dsm lmao. Not to mention the recent broken record for a stock block s2k just reached 800 rwhp...

Ergonomics, appearance, engineering, reliablility is something I need to be satisfied with before creating any kind of proj car....

wow thats badass, theres a local dude who has one that made 750awhp thing has like no paint sleeper as hell lol he's throwing an auto in it and basically going to decimate everything from the dig on the street.

Understood and agreed. However, DSM's are pretty much cheap and ugly as ISH right next to any year camaro. Anyone can make a dsm fast. They are so cheap and have such an issue with crank walk. Let me ask you, why don't you still have your cheap @ss DSM? Let's weld our tranny's everybody lol.

I do agree with you on one thing. Parts are cheap, but it's not easy making one of these fast. It does take some time, $$$ and elbow grease, but kicking the crap out of the competition was priceless. As far as why I sold it goes

It does take some time, $$$ and elbow grease, but kicking the crap out of the competition was priceless. Crankwalk was only an issue on 7-bolt cars and even then, it's relatively rare.
And no one welds transmissions. Drag guys weld the center diff to smooth out the launch and prolong driveline life.

What does that 800rwhp S2000 run? Probably slow as **** because it takes a weekend to spool and doesn't make enough torque to tighten lug nuts.

What guy even buys an S2000 and then brags about its merits as a drag car?
Your car was built for women and effeminate vegetarian men to cruise around town and try to look cool with the top down, and occasionally make a little VTAAAAK noise so people would think it's fast.
Here's a well built S2000. You know what they did? Put a DSM engine in it so it would go fast, and then put a honda badge on it to **** with people like you.
