LT1 Tuners are becoming harder to find these days. However it would be interesting to see the dyno graph for supposed 420 hp run. Where is your friend getting his next tune from?

Also do you have any idea what gears the LT1 car has stock rear as well?

I wouldn't get so wrapped up in dyno numbers. Have him run his car at the strip to tell the real story because right now I guarantee he isn't running like a 420rwhp car should

o i know he isnt thing is missing and obviosly getting beat by a bolt on ls1. he is scared to run at track cuz of 10 bolt. i think its an easy 420rwhp tuned right and hopefully we can put it to the test agaisnt the cobra pretty soon to actually see how she is standing.

Its hard telling what it would put down. Too many variables, I'd be saving up for a rear if I was him. That 10 bolt is a ticking time bomb, especially at that power level.

But at the track with a good tire and 60 foot I wouldnt see why mid 11s would be out of the question?

You know if he's running the stock fuel pump or not? Is your buddy on tech?

no he isnt im going to get him on here. its a racetronix fuel pump 30lb injectors and an edelbrock intake also. ill get him on here and get him to take pics of all the reciepts just so some people will believe me a little better. he really wants a 9 inch and 3.90's or 4.10's so maybe we can see what she will be running within the year hopefully

OP just get him out to the track and have him baby it out of the hole, just to see what it traps.

We are going to a rice killer meet this Thursday
Maybe he will run we go to the track all the time but even with his old bolt ls1 he never ran it. Plus this track sucks my best time on street tires at 95 degree heat and a lil wheel hop in 2nd was an 8.6 at 84 with a 2.2 60ft I need a damn rear end lol. I'll try my best to get him to run will keep y'all posted

get that lt1 tuned properly !
here one of my toyz a 383 lt1 vs 2012 boss 302 with bolt ons and tune slicks
not the best run the cars seen but the only vid i have on this laptop.

on this run i was on street tires so i had traction issues managed a 13.0 at 107mph.the boss dont remember the time..this 383's best time was a 12.2 on slicks

yea he is going to get a pro 5.0 with a lous short stick and get rid of the dumb *** t handle. he can shift damn good its just the t handle sucks and slows him down.
