x2.....that's bolt-on lt1 territory. A friend ran 12.2@114 with a extreme budget rebuild with a mild cam. I'm talkin scrogging pistons from another motor and not optimal bolt-ons with a mail order tune.

its not bad its bottom end is built for spray.its just the forged 383 bottom end with a small cam .no heads,no suspension.wth a biger cam, good heads, suspension ,gears will be in the 10s on motor..pretty much its just a cam only motor

Guy probably has more things to fix before that LT1 runs like it should. All of use have been there before. We build something, get excited and race it before its 100 percent ready including the driver...

sorry for how long it took to get the video up. Didnt go to the screen to see the numbers but like it said 416rwhp and 398rwtq. we would get another video or the termi now since the lt1 is tuned and lost close to 100 pounds but the termi got put in the shop for over heating problems and is getting a whipple now.
Also the tuner said that its a low compression engine. so everything is forged and low compression time for a d1sc

Sounds pretty good. Quite a bit of exhaust popping though....

416 hp with stock LT1 heads and a stroker built for boost? Do you have a picture of the dyno sheet? I'm not trying to be skeptical, it's just that I'm in the middle of an LT4 Stroker build, with fully worked heads and a comparable cam and that's about what I'm expecting to put down. I'm using speedtek's dyno as well and Scott Whitehorn as my tuner.

If that's true, then I'm probably going to overshoot my target by quite a margin.

That 383 must have not been running right, it was sloooooow. A good friend of mine had a strong one and he would have eaten me alive when I was bolt-on/baby cam only. Would love to see some races once it's running strong!

ill try and get the sheet, thats were he got tuned, the tuner thinks its low compression on the way it was running and how he was tuning it. it runs damn good, he raced that red cobra again and stayed a car or so back. just raced our buddys bolt on tuned ls2 m6 vette and he gets the vette by a fender. vette put down 386 and 373 so i guess thats right with the weight and everything.
