I love how they act like it's impossible for a RWD car to launch on the street. My car is set up pretty terrible for weight transfer but has still out launched both an Evo X and a SRT8 Jeep on the street.

I do love the SRT8s though, cool trucks.

RWD cars can absolutely launch on the street. Most people however cannot, and even a skilled guy has an off launch now and then. Thats where the Jeep shines, absolute torque monster and comes hot out of the hole with very little skill needed or indifference to be called to the task.

For those reading from the SRT8 forum: Why do you keep talking about 0-60 times? What are you, little boys comparing 0-60s from a supercar magazine? "Hey guys, I could totally pull a 0-60 of 3.2435464seconds and beat everything!!!"
Not to mention that it's sad when your mods in your sig consist of tinted windows and side markers.

Don't get me wrong, those Jeeps are pretty beastly from a dig, though. And I love the way they look.

I dont get this ****. Whoa....how could a jeep keep up with your 11 second GTO??? Because he built a bad *** combo. There is a N/A jeep running 10.4 full weight. Get over yourselves. If this jeep pulled you from a roll he will rape you from a dig...trust me. You said your 60ft was 1.5. The jeep that hit the 10.4 N/A has hit 1.37 60ft and thats on motor...lol.

where do you srt8 guys keep getting the impression he EVER pulled me? The best he could muster was when I actually had to go WOT to stay even with him from the 120-160mph mark, when under 120mph I was 90% WOT to keep from rear ending him? Trust me, I'll walk hard on ANY vehicle in 2nd gear that can't beat me in 3rd gear.

 

You guys do realize that this thread is over a modded GTO racing a Jeep? Both were fast, just crazy that one was a Jeep.

Either way I've been shown videos of some very fast Jeeps running around. Michigan has their fair share.
