Lol...yea we all could, but for car that was put together for less than what a s/c kit would cost i doubt it. I could build a pos v8 car that could drag my current car but for a turd that was put together with spare parts laying around and the car costed me 75bucks with working a/c why not.

Lol...yea we all could, but for car that was put together for less than what a s/c kit would cost i doubt it. I could build a pos v8 car that could drag my current car but for a turd that was put together with spare parts laying around and the car costed me 75bucks with working a/c why not.

well ill post the other vid of our rematch and im sure you can here his car this time that seems to be the deal breaker. We raced again from 40 and 60 this time he had no passengers and was in the right gear.

Like i said your car is fast for what it is...But something dosen't add up with the hp claims on the mustang..Im all about having a sleeper car,but that mustang sounded too queit for the hp that it claims to make..Even if you traped 10mph faster theres no way in hell you would pull that fast on him in such a short distance..
The owner of the car said he left in 3rd @ a low rpm and people have said many times the stand had 4 people in it. and he even said how much whp the stang makes. im not sure how hard it could be to put together that those two factors could cause him to fall back that hard.

The owner of the car said he left in 3rd @ a low rpm and people have said many times the stand had 4 people in it. and he even said how much whp the stang makes. im not sure how hard it could be to put together that those two factors could cause him to fall back that hard.

To make this easy you would have to neglect various things such as possible traction issues and and difficulty with each shift that might cause any sort of acceleration loss.
there are a few other things i could use to properly calculate that distance for you if it would make your ability to understand the original race better.

When i ran that 466hp vett i was way slower then. it takes me about 4_5sec to get from 65mph to 140mph. In 11.1 sec it takes me from 0~ 139mph on my old setup, in the run with the stang i went from 60~140. Just wait till the new vids get posted.

This, I do like what you have done to the car. Are you trying to get chicks? No, but if you needed a car to get chicks I'd think less of you. You built that car to be what you want, not to appease others. That is the essence of hotrodding right?

Well to do that you would need some sort of rate of acceleration to start off. saying something is a 140 or 130 car really doesnt say much in this instance since they started from a roll. So maybe their mph gain over the 2nd 1/8 would be a good starting point to have.
Then some approximate weights.
