Default 95 z28 vs duramax

So I went to town to see a new movie last night there was a guy with his buddies and girlfriend in a duramax diesel andhe would pull up next to me then get on it a then let off, he did this a couple times so I finally got tired of it an got on it the next time he did I got a half car ahead an let off (red light). We pull up to the red light and went from a dig and he pulled a car if that and after that I started to pull and ended up a fender ahead at the end, we both pulled into the movies and he ended up being a pretty good guy and was impressed with how well my car held up with him as was I.

4wd boosted launch FTW!!! Yea dmaxs can make power pretty easy depending on the year, a lift pump, intake, exhuast, and EFI live= 500-550 and about 1100-1400 TQ. My old dmax made 548 to the wheels and ran a best of 7.9 in the 1/8 with a 1.7 60ft. Good kill!!!

I ran a duramax with 550whp/1050wtq. I wasn't sure what was going to happen but it definitely made me respect what those trucks can do for being 7500lbs.

Thanks Will.

For the record, I'm at 518 rwhp right now. hope to be around 600 in a couple months. getting serious about that turbo swap. we'll go again after that ;-)

Should be a high 12 sec truck right now. hope to be in the low 12s after the turbo and tune.

Always lookin for someone to tangle with :-D

I have seen some bolt on LBZ Dmax trucks run mid 12s in 4WD. They are no joke...
