Default He didn't stand a chance!!

He didn't stand a chance...of losing to me! Headed home from the track Friday night and a car comes up on me on the highway. As he goes by he pats the gas a little to see if he'd get a reaction. Of course I'm game for a little pull, it's 11pm and no one anywhere close to us. So I get in it pretty hard to let him know, let's do this! He gradually slows to his preferred speed and I oblige and stay next to him. We get down to about 60 and roll there for a few seconds, so he can build some BOOST! We both nail it at the same time and it's like I put my car in reverse! I got straight walked on! My car isn't fast by any means, only traps 109. I knew it wouldn't be pretty but I have no problem getting out ran by a fast car, it's fun to see. The car is a beautiful black on black Supra, I'm guessing an easy 700-800 rwhp, and the best part is he has a license plate that reads, "LS1LMAO"! Sorry to let all the LS1's down, he just had way more car than me. We both gave a thumbs up and went on our way. Maybe next time....

Should have never let him build that boost. LOL Honorable Death OP. Those supra's are nasty on the highway but at the 1/4 mile the run like mid 12's at 130 plus.

What's the similarities between a 300rwhp supra a 800rwhp? They both run 13s.

sounds like someone lost to a lot of ls1's when they had a civic, and they carried that little man syndrome with them when they bought supra

He's local so I'm sure we'll meet again. Maybe I'll have a faster car and we can go from a dig

i like how you all hate on the supra...

one if not they only import i would ever own... Why? my buddy had one that was non turbo and ran a 13.98 consistently with a open rear...(impressive for a 6 cylinder... all stock)

sounds like you had fun op... all that matters

What do a stock 5th Gen SS and a TVS2300 5th Gen SS have in common? They both run 12's.

A 700-800rwhp supra on the street has more ***** then 99% of the ls1s it will ever run into from a roll. I do agree though that those plates are tough because you never know what you might run into.

Where are you seeing consistent 700-800rwhp cars in the U.S., one meet a year in Texas doesn't count. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I saw a car around here with that much power.

There are 5-6 within 10 minutes of where I am, my living room.

Drive 45 minutes North of me and there are way more than that.

I could have 1000 rwhp, and some day I'll get walked by someone. There will ALWAYS be someone faster! I'm happy just to see 'em go

Car is really clean.....saw it run at Commerce tonite and it went 12.91 on what looked to be an "easy-ish" pass.....after i saw the tag, had to see if had the stuff to back it up. It's fast, can't wait for an LS car to shut him up....maybe run for his plate. Mount it on the wall like a tiger head.LOL
