Evo is nasty for sure. I dont see the Zr1 making that much power, and the Evo making more. Once the Evo found 4th after the miss, it IMMEDIATELY stopped the pull and started raping again. A 30 whp difference will not make up ground that quick. More like 80-100 whp. It would be so easy for the Evo to turn up the boost to rape him if he was worried, I would have. Props to the Evo!

EVO has been making that exact same power for a WHILE now. Look up ram1320 his vids are all over, recently he has learned to drive his car better and i guess he did that FD swap. IMO, the EVO pulled the ZR1 like it was traping 10mph more. To miss that hard and get it in and still pull the ZR1 that hard is crazy. That ZR1 has probably one of the mildest "cam" ive ever heard in my life. Sounds stock to me.

People need to realise. It's not all about how much power you make. But how you make the power. An Evo that's running that kind of boost is more then likely seeing a good 8-8.5k rpm. Maybe even 9k. His dyno sheet I bet is way off in right field. Add the 4.10's to the mix and that car is a top end monster. The 4 and 6 cylinder engines with monster turbos and equal power to the V8's have one advantage and that's making hp at a ridiculously high rpm. It's what makes the UGR Gallardo's fast, the Supra's, M3's etc etc. All have one thing in common. Low displacement high revving engines and all rev beyond 8k rpm. Think about it.

Let me try to simplify it. Car X makes 800 RWHP and 600 rwtq and has a great 3k-6k rpm powerband, power tapers off approaching 6500 rpm which is the shifting point for car X. Car X also has a large displacement engine. Car Y makes 800 rwhp and 450 rwtq but at 8k rpm and is a low displacement 6 cyl engine. Both cars weigh the exact same, and also have transmissions to match their powerbands. From a roll; I guarantee every time Car Y is going to get the win because of how it makes its power. Now this doesn't work every time as there is many many other factors. But most of the time it usually goes toward the lower displacement car.

I don't see the confusion. The Vette may have made 800hp on a dyno. So what lots of dynos read different. Looks like it's a 140-142 car. The Evo is DEFINITELY all of the 151 he claims.
