Anyways just watched the vid of tge strip. What was the track info for that pass? Thats STOCK gto territory. Either that cobalt fucked up his tune before the drags or something. WSick, is the gto owner on here or ls1gto? Would like to here from him......

Wtf are u talking about cobalt is a 115 car and pulled the gto slightly that's why I said it looks like a avg running cam ls2 goat. You drive a ls1 gto you (lol)

As for Ju1ces comment about them losing steam up top. That all depends on the tune as far as I'm concerned as Jay's car is pulling harder and harder up top while not having to push nearly as much boost as the turbo's could support.

And juice has used that cobalt he beat for years in every cobalt kill story. Lots has changed.
Not every goat runs 12's, not every cobalt runs out of steam, not every fbody runs 13.2 stock but to him....he will pull EVERY bolt on, tune cobalt in any car he owns.

I think you guys are getting too wrapped up in the Cobalts trap. Watch the video of his pass, which is just shy of 115mph. At the track, he can't build any boost, and the launch is slowwww (60' was a 2.2). From a roll, it is much stronger, and even on the stock turbo brakeboosting makes a nice difference.
Also, the Cobalt didn't come around the GTO til after 120mph, which is higher than what both trap. Race ended around 140.
GTO is heading to the track soon, maybe this week.
This is the same Cobalt, but on street tires, vs a 45x rwhp GTO, which walked away from the cam only GTO in the original video.
