Me neither. I have way too many other financial responsibilities at the moment to spare any cash on my toys.

Thanks man, cars from then aren't anything like they are today. What would you like to know? I have no problem sharing cause it's not some top secret build.

It sure did, I wanted to build an old school machine that would hold it's own against the newer stuff

good runs. the biggest prob with carb cars is getting the timing and afr right. most simple setups would run way better with a wideband and someone who knows timing. some gears and nitro boost would make that car a pretty big sleeper. i've seen a few sub 400" local gen 1 sbc cars go low 11s @ 120+ on 93 octane and no crazy setup. attention to detail is what separates those motors.

Thanks guys, I do try to have fun with it. It really isn't as clean as the video make it look. She is pretty rough actually.

Thanks. I actually did have O2 sensors put in the headers so a wideband could be used while tuning. Timing is locked out. Gears and spray will come eventually along with other go fast goodies. Sleeper though? the car is far too loud to sneak up on anyone. That does give me some hope though since that is what I am planning to run

Great runs! Your car runs really strong for the mods. Really. Like someone else said most cars with a 350-355s are usually all bark and no bite. Glad to see other carb'd old school Pontiac guys on these boards

Specific head, cam, headers, and stall setup.

This was engine setup on the Camaro I was talking about. Edelbrock intake, Holly carb'd setup, unknown headers... Not sure on the rest.

Good stuff man

The heads are a set of used TFS 195s with 64cc. 1.6/2.02 valves. D-shaped exhaust ports
The cam is an off the shelf solid roller comp cam. 12-770-8
duration @ .050 236/242
lift .564/.570 with 1.5 rockers (I have 1.6)
lsa 110
Headers are some headman longtubes I got for free with the block with 3 inch collectors, that's all I know about them.
Stall is a 3600 precision industries vigilante. 2.5 str set up for spray
