Yea the car has responded to the little bit of mods VERY well so far.

That C6 is train wrecking ***** up there...

Sometimes less is more, that vette is at the right spot for being able to still get some traction and yet beat a bunch of cars...

Cool vid...

I would have liked to see the ole GN run a little harder... I love those cars..

Yea it' decent stage right now like you're saying, i really can't wait to get the converter in this car and run like that until i do the cam.

I feel like there is MUCH more left in that Buick. It should have done a bit better imho.

I agree... I would have loved to see it turned up a bit and on better tires...

I grew up in the 80s/90s and always loved hard leaving GNs.. They usually don't MPH that well but damn they front half well. I always wanted one. Once I got to the point I could afford one, they were already on the down slide of the tuning market.... Not near as many parts/tuners available these days. If you're gonna have one, you best be able to do all work/tuning yourself.

That being said, I WILL have one someday.. I want one that looks bone stock, runs 9s@135+ and has all amenities... With the way those chassis work, you can still crack some *** in those ole cars...

They were the "LS" cars of the 80s/early 90s..

that's his old setup, he had the car set up for boost but running it NA. and the gearing in the car is now 3.23's. The car isn't properly spraying when he is on bottle, but it'll get figured out. Shane's car def rolls out for what's done to it.

I can say FOR CERTAIN THE VETTE AINT SANDBAGGING..That vette didnt wreck my big fat caddy.. My old ctsv has walked the vette dig and roll, even with his mismatched wheels and 17"drag radials..the poor Zl1 will be ready to do the same thing. Just needs a little love and about 5 hundy spent on it. Results will be the same.
