02 Z06 vs 96 cobra

Your friends cars don't run accordingly.
Meaning: Your friends cars you have raced don't run like the cars myself and a few others in here are telling you about.
^^ Now what part of that says those cars don't run right? I never directly said anything wrong about those cars, I have no idea what they are or what mods they have etc.
Why are you quoting me with mechanic puns?
You guys remind me of the village. Lol

Ok what should an fbody make with lid, smooth bellows, ls6 intake, longtubes, true duals, tune? M6? Just curious. As to i have only seen 1.6 million lsx cars dynoed here. Im asking you because you know everything. Once again....HOW DO YOU KNOWWWWWWW they dont run like your cars or your friends? Because i won?
I think your MAD right now and need to take time to collect your thoughts and reading comprehension.
It's not abnormal for people to do 111 and such in bolt-on ls1 cars. So what's not to believe about your stories?
Do they run like a well suited bolt-on car, I think not.
It eats you up inside or something? Lol

I have seen a lot of 98 Cobras trap 103 MPH stock. They are very tough to ET and get good MPHs. What worked for me was shifting it right at the limiter. Have seen full bolt on ones trap 108-111MPH many times. Not as fast as a LS Fbody but pretty good back in the day
Hioslow went 131MPH at Mason Dixon which is an easy 2-3 MPH slower than Cecil/Atco. His 131 MPH passes SUCKED cause he had a bad 02 on it. He has gone 130MPH with less mods too at the same track. Bet at Cecil with a good 02 he would go 133 easy.

Where are you Cory? There's a ls1 car here w/o headers that I bet would hand you your ***.....not even full bolt-ons....no tune...no ewp...no headers.....just a ls6 intake

Whoever said a bolt on 96-98 Cobra "normally" traps 102-103 in the 1/4 is obviously clueless and needs to stick with Honda's! In good conditions a *stock* car should be trapping 100-102. They indeed will pick up more than 1-2 mph with bolt-ons. I know mine did.
And the other guy that claimed they stink from a roll is also incorrect. That is actually where they shine, with the stock 3.27 gears at least. With a shorter gear like 4.30 not so much, but that's with just about any car.
Oh ok. I was just wondering why someone would go through the hassle of building the short block only to spray what a stock short block can take all day. Is it a wet kit? If so all it needs is a fuel pump. Put one in and spray a 175-shot and really make them mad. LOL
