my buddy's stock 05 c6 m6 car went 12.6 @ 112 the same night a 2013 zl1 m6 car went 12.8 @ 112. they were on the same timeslip. he texted it to me, i'll see if i can dig it up.

sad sad sad. however, that same stock c6 was skulldragging cammed ls1 cars left and right that weekend lol. certainly hiding something under that 112 trap.

here is the c6 having its way with an m6 el toro (230/230 111) cammed hardtop 430 gear 9" camaro (with like 300lbs of extra weight in it) and a cammed m6 gto. we think the goat was spraying on the second run vs the slowmaro. notice the wideband and also how fast it pulls the gears vs the first run.

on a side note, that camaro put a about a car and a half on me from 40-110 without the passenger and extra weight. at the time i had a chrs1313 ram air and long tubes. engine was stock (ls1 intake). the vette straight rolled me up every time we ran. i have 390 gears and a ls6 intake now. i want to try that z28 again. the vette now has long tubes so i know that's a moot point lol.

Kinda hard to throw around the "nuthugger" insult when Hio has been stinking this thread up

You're really comparing my stock 2v from 2004 vs that!?

A better insult would have been asking me what I ran turbo, on radials back in August

Anyway that Doug can flip the argument in his head to where GM comes out on top he's going to do it, even if it means contradicting himself.

Come on now kevin you know better than that. This race posted went as it should. A auto ZL hole shotted then the Gt500 came around it up top, just how I would expect it to happen. Then some started some bs about jumping and engine size. I just straightened it out. Looked at it for what it was and that was it.

Don't really get this GM vs Ford thing. They both make great performance cars. As for the ZL1, I do not know what all you guys are watching, but that ZL1 is a decently fast car with a lot of potential once the modding begins..Looked damn impressive to me!

Gotcha. So the quoted video of the ZL1 at the track was not comparing to my car stock at the track.

Just wonder if you noticed how great progress was over that 2v pos you started with.

HIO...in all honesty, you should branch out and own at least one Ford and one Mopar. You will feel totally different towards other car manufacturers then. I recently had a 2001 Z28 and because of that, have no animosity towards a GM car. My LS1 Z was one of the best cars I have ever owned.
