BS!!! My intake/tune/exhaust TBSS beat a stock 07 red with white stripes gt500 at our local 1/8 mile track. my 8:39 85mph to his 8:75 88mph.

No offence Auto, but are the previous new gen GT500's that slow in stock form? Would this new setup that im hoping for 500rwhp and 450+ tq wax a stock one bad?

Stock they are mid 12sec cars. With tire alone I seen some dip in the low 12s.

Sounds like he was ready to come around you hardcore if he already had 3 mph on you by the 1/8th. I wouldn't have wanted to be you if it was a full 1/4 mile, let alone a roll race where the launch is taken out of the equation.

Well they perform like 116-117 cars on the roll stock. As they should with 440rwhp and a 4000lb curb weight with tr6060 gearing

Well i would have been a very good race for one before then! Now im 200# lighter, 4:11 gears and up roughly 60-80 hp and tq.

lol who roll races?? a real race is at the strip and if i had the gt500 i would be pissed to get beat by a SUV..

A real race is at least a 1/4 mile. You don't really think your truck is faster than a GT500 just because you beat him by 4 tenths in an 1/8 mile race, do you?

Actually that day it was. Everybody knows on the street anything can happen. What i am saying that the OP beating a head/cam/nitrous TBSS is BS. That guys truck has some serious problems and he shouldn't be driving it..

Gt500 usually don't lose to a suv. I'm sure a couple of bolt ons changes that.
