Op I don't think you will have any issues. My 04' LS1 gto was exhaust only with no tune at this point, and that's on par with an F body. Car was a 2012 Challenger R/T. Just for comparison the second vid is a 04` Mustang GT. THis kid swore up up and down he would walk the CHallenger and me to. He had Full exhaust, tune, M5, and a 3 foot tall wing lol. Go get em OP.

Yeah really. I have seen quite a few new RT's with a predator and cold air intake with a decent tire running low 13's high 12's. ive also seen with just a nitto r tire and good air low to mid 13's. the eagle engine woke things up a good amount.
Im putting my money on the F body still if i were a betting man. Lighter car, more power im sure. Challengers only help really is the auto. If hes bone stock then the f body, if hes stock and is bullshitting a bit, may wanna go on 2 1/2.

Decent 1000ft area. The eagle motor or 09+ RT makes 390HP they claim from the factory. So say 320whp area stock. Predator tune will put about 15 to the wheels and an intake maybe. So say 350-360whp being a little generous with the fat *** car and a good launch with good air, low 13 isnt out of the question.
All are different, driver etc. we pull my friends seats out of his magnum and put on bogarts all around, intake, exhaust and tune, with a 275/50/17 racemaster and we got it to the 12.4's at 111-112 area. All because it would hook like a bastard.

So..... an 09+ I/E/T RT runs about what an I/E/T pre-393 SRT8 runs? With a stock 6.1 SRT8 making 425 at the crank @ about 39xish to the wheels and an I/E/T 6.1 making about 4xxish to the wheels?

Considering how close they are with power, youre talking literally 20/30 HP and the difference between drivers, hooking, so many variables brought to the plate with a 20/30 HP, maybe 20/40 HP difference its way closer than people think. A 5.7 with minor mods cutting a 1.75 60' and a 6.1 stock cutting a 1.9 60 with some spin is going to be a very close run.

Dodge only claims 375 hp from the factory. That's a good bit of difference between the 6.1 @ 425 hp stock. I have seen some cammed RT cars get in the 12s. But that usually insn't all that is done to it.
•5.7L HEMIŽV8 with up to 372 horsepower+.
•25 HWY MPG+.
•Performance steering and suspension.

Dodge claimed 375 for 2009. When the next gen ram came out it was 390 and more trq as its the same motor.
Tons of cammed 5.7's in the 12's.
My small cam 5.7 and worked 09+ eagle heads with a 6.1 manifold did plenty of damage.

Might share same motor, might not share same intake tubing, manifold, exhaust manifold, even cams. Shouldn't base what a Challenger will do by the highest rating you can find of that engine in another application.
Its a 370hp engine. A better step up from the previous RTs, but I doubt it'll run down the older SRT8s. Sure, its closer... but it'll require decent mods or weight savings to run par.
