If its a 09 stock vs a 3.73 ls1 im going to bet from 50 he "slowly" pulls if you go past 80, your lighter weight and gears may keep you even with him for a gear but if i had to bet ide say the RT bye a car from 50 to 115 him pulling after 70 or 80.

This sounds a bit right. I'd put it at 104, 105. No way are they 110 cars... not stock. Not at all. Not without a tailwind, weight reduction, and a slingshot off the line.
I see em mid 13s at best, yeah. Low 13s, like 13.2... no
No ones disputing that. A honda can move out if built right.
Yeah. The older RTs were much worse.
The older 340hp RTs were DOGSSS stock. I ran one from a dig in my old V6 CTS... and held up till about 60ish when he started pulling. LOL They're talking about the new 370 ones.
E erything gothemi said is correct. Im not understanding why people cant grasp the fact that cars with 30/40whp difference cant be a drivers race. My friend ran at atco mid october with an 11 challenger RT. has an intake, srt catback, bogarts and mh racemasters and with a 6 speed was going 12.8's. given its dead hooking and great DA, its still a 6 speed car etc.
Its not that far off, the 5.7's can move out for sure if built right.

Soooo I learned a lot about Dodge's.....Thanks guys lol. I think I can take him on a 50 roll. I think in 4th gear (where my car pulls hardest) i'll start to yank him.

Still im not seing it guys. Ive raced a couple of these cars and I would have said they were more around a 100 mph trap. Atleast around here. I raced a 11' charger from a dig and blew the tires off in first, and second I pulled HARD. The challenger was slightly better but no way it was hangig with me. I beat it roughly 4-5 cars from 0-140. I trapped 104 at the track, granted 2.+ 60'. I guess maybe that's what throwing me off....

I have a similar race upcoming,so I have been watching this thread. A coworker has a 09 R/T and thinks he will take me. He is bone stock and claims 390 HP. (I thought they were 370 and the trucks were 390 due to better exhaust.) I have a 97 SS with a fairly mild H/C set up. I hope to race soon cause the weather is going to turn to ****. It might be spring time,I will let you guys know. I dont think it will even be close.
