Going from 3.23s to 3.73s sent me from 110/111mph to 114 mph. Then I did milled heads, tiny cam, and a 2800 stall along with going back to a 3.42. Now I only trap 115-116. Car feels like it drops too far out of the RPM going from 2nd to 3rd and isn't at an optimal RPM crossing the line. So yea, the key is to match your gear to your combo and cross as close to peak power as possible.
Any plans to upgrade in the future?
Bet it is a really nice street car

A ls1 will make more tq than hp too. Notches car made 340whp and 360wtq.....no where near full bolt-ons either.

None of mine ever had. My GTO did break even at 350/350 (STD), but my current ride is making slightly more HP than TQ. Was actually a lot more HP with the stock verter, like 360 RWTQ to 385 RWHP (SAE) through the stock cat-back.

Thank you sir. Even though I couldn't show everything it had, with very careful driving it can still shine, somewhat. Outrunning a Lamborgini Murcielago by exactly half a second surely put a shiny smirk on my grill
