Default bolt-ons ws6 vs hhr ss/tc

Got a couple runs with my friends hhr ss. My car is full bolt ons headers, duals, lid, tune, M6 monster stage 2, tick master.

His hhr is intake/ 3" downpipe (ithink) /fmic/charge piping/ 27psi, m5

First run was from a 40 roll, both cars spun heavily you can see me get sideways let off and get back in it. About 2 cars.

Second was from a 50, second gear i dont spin and pull hard.

little fun with my friends cam/bolt ons lq4 camaro at the end. We've run before and from a roll who ever gets the hit wins. No one pulls at all. He traps much hire at the track and runs much faster.

I honestly expected to put football fields on him. Definitely a stronger running car than I expected

Here is another video from last night....I broke at the end of the pull. My power steering pulley disintegrated, threw my serpentine belt, thank god for AAA lol Youll here the cobalt ss/tc chase car run over bits of my car ha

Didn't know they had an auto option. I imagine the autos can't hold that much power and most guys don't mod them

put a nice dent in my alternator pulley as well. Im assuming there was a small crack in the back side of the pulley that caused it to explode. Took it with a smile everyone was alright and tow was free. Still had enough time to get the car home and get out to the meet in the back of the hhr lol

AND if any of you noticed i way not spraying in these runs LOL

good kill op, 27psi in ANYTHING is gonna make a race interesting. lol

Far as the HHR goes, I have two at work and absolutely HATE them things. miniscule interior room means my shoulders not just touch the other seat, but go into that seats space. head hits roof, just uncomfortable as hell. Worlds crappiest interior with worlds crappiest plastic quality. Unbelievably unreliable: more time is spent with 1 HHR then with 2 since we got them two years ago. power steering burnt out, both frontends completely shot by 50k miles, one trans out, two CV's shot, brakes going bad, alignment needing done once a year, one anti lock module replaced, one body computer replaced, two reflashes needed done to cure craptastic shifting issues. Noisy as hell on the freeway due to lack of sound deadening. blinding light on roof that is meant to shine all the way down to the cupholders on the floor to light them up: only problem is that it blinds the driver and CAN NOT be turned down or off. List goes on and on, I literally wouldn't take one if it was given to me.

Oh yea, ugly as hell too.

i really didnt mind it at all, but maybe thats just me coming from a rattling f-body with loud dumps. I thought it was very comfortable and didnt seem cheap to me. I like how it looks. Not so much normal hhr's but i would definitely rock an SS

I will allow as to never having ridden in anything but the base model fleet HHR's.

At work we have 3 late 90's Ford vans, 1 2000 chevy van, and the 2009 HHR's. We fight over the 6 cylinder chevy van as it's the best ride, best seats, most reliable, and of course fastest of them all. Nothing like lining up the old work vehicles and racing through the industrial area of Seattle. lmao
