For instance, here's a bolt on M6 vs C6 Z06. Z06 could have shifted better, but it wouldn't have made a difference.

Nice runs, the camaro moves the f out for sure. I believe all the M cars have much higher limiters than the base series cars. For example the M3 has a 195mph limiter while the sport version 335i/328i is 155mph and the non sport is 135mph.
I love the v10 m5's, but not to big of a fan on the m6 styling. The sedan looks far more sharp imo

Thing is, they really don't start moving fast until after 150 mph though.

Lol bolt-on M6. Get real
I want to note that the M6 in this video is MODIFIED. I put in about 26K in modifications to this car so it certainly out performs a factory spec M6 and therefore "is" definetely "Stock C6 ZO6 fast". This M6 easily outruns a stock M6 by many car lengths. Although the ZO6 driver could have shifted a little faster, the outcome is still clear.....When both cars are engaged in gear under power you can clearly see that the M6 pulls away after the 100 mph mark.

5th gens got a bad rap. but if u know what ur doing u can make them fast pretty easy , take rhino's for example. at the track it takes a lil bit , but these cars do work on the street, i put mine in a street tire event 140+ cars unprepped track , and came in 2nd , it was at a air strip no. i beat on some procharged vettes , a few fbodys with nitrous. got beat buy a mustang ls swap turbo . by like 1/2 car. ive ran a 12.1 on street tires ,cam + boltons. on the track tho i get beat on, take it to the street my car does alot better.

I dont think the lift will cause an issue up to mid 600's, but like I mentioned, with more spring pressure (like that of duals) you start losing control of the factory phaser. I expect to see upgraded phasers eventually that will hold up to serious springs and then it will get really interesting.

Wider powerband. I make over 450 rwhp from 5800 to 7000 rpm. I was able to maximize tq and hp throughout the powerband. A similar cam to mine but in a traditional version on a 111 lsa like mine will peak probably around 6400 or so and start falling off. From 6200 to 6850 I basically make the same hp.

If i paid thousands of dollars for cams and made nothing, those things would be for sale the next day.
Looking forward to that race.

From what i hear too, its a fully built motor but still runs 3.45 gears. But runs on a weld drag wheel... we will see. Makes 499whp 4100lb race weight.
