They respond very well to mods, but they're also finicky cars. The DI system sucks.
Back in '09 My buddy had one that went 13.4@106 with intake and test pipe only.
With downpipe, diverter valve (the stock ones leak) and tune that became 13.2@109 @ LVD.
Not a chance the guy could drive.

It won't be, lol. Driver is mediocre and the car either spins or torque steers all over the road. He trapped less than my friend's 09 did while making about 35whp more. 108 is his best IIRC.
However, Evan and i know a 5.0 that would probably be a solid race for you.
Boss manifold, X-pipe, and tune, 3.73s.
His first mod should be motor mounts. They break with stock power/rubber.

The stock ones are VERY weak. My buddy with the 09 broke 2 of the stock ones in one trip to the track.
From what i've heard the new ones aren't much better

I think paul and SRZ will be a tight race after the Xpipe.
We took two of them to the track in '09 with identical mods. One went 13.4@106, other never made it past 14.0@102 IIRC.
One great driver, one average driver.
That 13.4@106 was with maybe 20whp over stock (being generous, it was probably less), in mid-summer air. I could see a stocker matching it in -800DA

I did find one that went 13.7 @ 99.9. Haven't found any that hit 101 mph. If they are capable of 106 then great, I think they're cool cars. They must be bought and driven by the worst drivers ever though, because they come across as being stock LS1 fodder from what I've seen.

I have one encounter with an MS3 in my daily and iirc he did 13.6 @ 106 at one point. He was building it up for 500whp and blew the tranny twice and then finally the motor. He's riding around on a motorcycle nowadays.
