I do definately want to at least change my intake manifold. I'm sure that will free up a little top end. H/C would be nice...and not out of the question in the longrun, but there's just too much I want to finish on the firebird before sinking a ton of money into the GTO. Too many projects, not enough money! haha

Thanks for the good words all!
Ok, good to know...and yea, the fact that he's on E85 doesn't help me at all lol. I was hoping he was on 93 pump to give me an idea of how much boost I can run safely on straight 93 gas. I'm thinking 13-14 will be ok with my compression ratio (8.6:1) but there's only one way to really find out...

Nightmare, I think with alky you would be a very happy. I run an AlkyControl kit on my Buick and is incredible how much more boost and power I could make. I am currently set on 26PSI of boost. If my engine has not been touched, which I am sure it has not, it's at about 8.5:1 compression, similar to yours. You could probably run a bit more boost on the pump gas as is. Anyways, sweet T/A and good races.

Yea I'm sure you guys have MORE than enough corn out your way! I think theres one station thats about 45 minutes from me that sells it, but **** driving there every time I need gas. I'd take a 75-100 HP loss before going that route!
