No kidding. It's a ZO6 with a few grand in mods vs a bone stock 41-4200lb 4 door luxury sedan. Spend a few grand on the E55 and run em again. At the end of the day this is still a luxury tank vs Americas lightweight high power supercar of it's time. I'd expect the ZO6 to walk away faster considering the types of cars racing each other.

A nice E55 can be had for low 20s now. Maintenance isn't anywhere near what you'd expect if you're willing to turn your own wrenches.

So what does your car actually run? I saw lots of showing off but no actual numbers posted? Maybe I missed them.

$500 a corner (W/Lifetime warranty) air suspension is a small price to pay for a 4 door 5 seat ubber luxury sedan that stock for stock sits right with a ZO6 of its time I'd say. Wouldn't you? Besides the suspension the E55's aren't bad to maintain at all really. Again, if you will turn your own wrenches.

Besides, having a button to raise the car and not scrape the nose is pretty nice. Also that it lowers itself at highway speeds. I'm sure the vette guys wouldn't mind a button to help keep the front bumper from scraping everything.

I did a lapping day with an E55 when I had H/C and we were pretty much even on the straights, I couldn't pull him but he couldn't loose me either. At the time I was trapping about 118 in the quarter.

Not quite a pulley and a tune but he got a tune that supposedly adds about 50 rwhp and about 60tq to a stock set up. Skip to 10:40 to see it and also at the end there's a quick/embarrassing run against my cousin's 911 Turbo S

Those numbers are exaggerated for a tune only. There's def power to be had, but not that much.

Here's a popular tuner and what their tune offers. I think this is slightly exaggerated to help sell the tune personally, but every company does that. No tuner will add 50RWHP with just a tune on an E55.
