Truth be told, they are not as easy to drive as you would think.

They seem to either bog at the track or spin, it takes a lot of practice with them if you aren't used to a F.I car. Then if the car has a clutch that isn't up to par, they won't shift very good. Mine shifts like **** W.O.T because the clutch I have doesn't want to disengage (C.F Dual Friction).

I know these are excuses, and I will more than likely get flamed for them, but I am trying to give a honest answer.

ive been told they are hard to drive.. however.. ive had a few friends with them who have made some strong power with them and had had issues smashing gears. But im not talking about the average shifts... im talking about 90 percent of the people online who i could unwrap a sandwish and eat half of it in between shifts.

With my clutch, I have to wait for the revs to drop so that it will go in gear

Yeah, you could eat a sandwich while texting when I shift.

ive never personally used a CF clutch... but ive seen a lot of friends have problems.. Im sold on Mcleods. I dont care how much they cost... bite like no tomorrow, handle crazy power, and shift like stock. Worth the 1300 bucks

Yeah, my next clutch for the Cobra is going to be a McLeod RXT twin disc.

The Centerforce Dual Friction in my car a year and a half ago, is still great on the street; it just slips when you put a sticky tire on it at the track.

Here is a video of me and another Cobra running way back when I had a better DF clutch in my car. I knew that his car was faster than mine, so I did my best to chop his head off at the tree. He was #1 qualifier and I was #4 for a stick shift race.

Oh, I'm the Cobra in the far lane.

I've never really heard much on either tbh. I picked up my center force for 500$ a while back and know its treated me good.
However, for what I've heard for higher hp cars McLeod is the way to go.

I have a centerforce df in my gto, no complaints really. I shift at 7,000 usually aswell. I have had issues with third but i think that was shiftwr related. I now have a gmm ripshift and pistol grip.
