went for a little cruise with a buddy tonight and saw a little tuner gathering at taco bell. decided to open the cutout and mess with them a little and saw a new ss in the parking lot. i pulled through and talked to them for a few min until dude man in the 5th gen asked if i wanted to run. he asked me a bunch of really dumb questions like if it had any boltons (guess he didnt notice the loud *** exhaust through the cutout and the cam) then told me he had a manual and auto in his car...lol.
the first run was from a 20 roll and i puppy kicked him, pulled at least 5 lengths before i shut it down.
the next run was from a 40, and ended up pretty much like the first, maybe 4 lengths.
the last race was from a dig, i smoked the hell out of the cold nittos, and he jumped out pretty good but i still ran him down before i shifted into third

wish i could have filmed some but it was kinda spur of the moment. Had a lot of fun and cant wait for it to warm up

Good runs op. the "no clue" phenomenon is prevalent with any current gen platform. Especially the challenger rt type guys.

All purchases of new or used 5.0 come with an instructional video from Ohio which lets owners know how to drive and mod vehicle to keep it was #1 platform in the world.

Nice kill OP! I unfortunately find the same to be true, 5th gens owners tend to try to look "cool" IMO. Of course there are some fast ones though. Many of the owners just look.seem/are clueless.

while im not a ford nutswinger, i do have a lot of respect for the new 5.0
my car trapped 113 er so and barely outran a stock 2011 gt. definitely didnt kill it like this 5th gen. the guy is a hell of a driver but it does seem like more "car guys" buy new 5.0s than the average 5th gen owner/dummy.
not saying there arent cool knowledgeable people that own both, just seems like the people that are in the market for a car like that lean towards the ford here lately
