I would like to point out a stock G8 GT is NOT an even race for a stock SRT 8 car, a GXP yes but not a GT.

When did Automach get a red G8? lol

@G8 dood

Why do you care about new car prices on cars that you can't even get new anymore? GTFO

When people argue about how much something costs it's usually some twisted way to justify why they feel their car is lacking. Just saying. Who cares how much something costs anyway? Lets be honest for a moment. a 50k car to someone that makes 120k a year isn't nearly as expensive as a 25k car to someone that makes 40k a year.

I'm just saying that an SRT8 that is $10K more than my car should smoke it but the G8 hangs right with it. The only thing my car is lacking is more mods, and if I didn't buy a badass custom harley it would be much faster. At least I'm not lacking in reading comprehension like so many here.

I'm not angry at all, I have a great car and a kickass harley, so it doesn't get any better than that. I also have my own website to sell the billet aluminum car parts I make in my garage. Everyone loves the craftsmanship I put into my products, and the prices are very affordable so I get a lot of orders.

I bought it for $20K in 2008 with 22K miles on it. Five years later it's still worth about that much so I can't complain at all. It's by far the best car I ever had.

You have made it plenty clear in this and past posts that you like your car and your badass harley. But this still has NOTHING to do with a 392 challenger racing a boss 302.

That is a pretty good deal. They are holding their values pretty well now

Hopefully for a friend in the marketplace, they will go down in price when the new SS is out for a few years

The SS will be produced in limited numbers (about 3000 a year) so it might not effect the price of used G8 GT's much. It'll be more of an upper end car like the GXP with a higher price tag.

Obviously the mighty and overpriced SRT8 isn't so mighty after all. LMAO!!!!!
LMAO.
Once he started his soap box rant I knew that thread would come up.
A H/C "ONLY" SRT8 lost to a full bolt on H/C G8.
I'm sure once I get some supporting mods it'll be a more entertaining race

Not taking any thing from the yeti kill. He ripped my car a new one!
And I enjoyed every second.

According to the Mopar fanboys the SRT8 has more hp than the G8 GT so it shouldn't need any more mods to beat it. Obviously they were filling my head with lies!!!!!

Last I heard the SS will start around mid $40's, right in line with a new SRT8.

Makes sense with the GXP pricing with 4 years of inflation added to it

For somone that has no times or numbers for your car, you sure do talk a lot of trash about something you aparently have no knowledge about. Let us know when your at least in the 12s. Until then get off the

I know what my car is capable of and how to get there. Is there anymore silly statements you would like to make?

The new SS is way out of my price range, plus it won't have a manual trans when first produced, so that definitely would deter me from trading my car for one.
