1st race was a blowout - GTO
2nd race - GTO
3rd race (limp mode) - TIE I was pulling in limp mode even untill that damn 3-4 shift.....

Ya, I know GTO`s are turds
I had a passenger, and an extra battery in the trunk lol. Was NOT expecting this race. SHows up at my work and says if were going to do this were going to do it now lol. DAMN IT. Had a few fueling changes to make first but meh, im happy!!!

I've ran a few w/ my car which is built very similiar to yours and had the same results (minus the limp-mode part lol). But yeah, GTOs are turds, now think about your setup in that C6...nasty.

Thanks man, I have my adjustable front Koni`s and 3:91`s sitting in my living room to go on
What I'm trying to say is your car is only 350-400lbs heavier then a C6, with 120+rwhp more. Way more then enough to walk him just like in that first race.
Get your car checked out, then if it's good then check out his car.

Yeah totally agreed. When I had less mods then OP (unported LS3 heads, smaller cam) I was putting bus lengths on LS2 vettes and C5 Z06's. Hell, only a couple cars off a well driven C6Z06 from a hwy roll - even beat a C6Z, but that was driver error on his part.
What I'm trying to say is your car is only 350-400lbs heavier then a C6, with 120+rwhp more. Way more then enough to walk him just like in that first race.

With me in my GTO I'm always around 4000lbs. Yeah, I weigh that much. Really want to put the goat on a more hardcore diet but I always start feeling guilty about putting ME on a hardcore diet first. I could lose 100lbs...

Lol ive seen a few of your vids you a big dude! I pulled him hard on the dif so its possible it threw the CEL during that race or right after idk. It normally fry`s the tires off on the 1-2 power shift but today i just got a chirp :/ Either way I pulle dout some wins and I feel good about em

I'm warning you man, those 3.91's will no doubt make it feel faster, but at your power level they aren't gonna help you any more then they are going to hurt you. Traction will not be your friend, and neither will your syncro's when you try to make lightning fast shifts so you don't lose ground.






....but I was told by someone that GTO's are slow as ****!?! lol
