121-122mph is typically what I've seen at the track from z06

 

Not with drag radials they dont. A 3100# car with 440rwhp will easily trap higher than that on Dr's.

 

Terrible driver, Slow track or TERRIBLE DA.

Same track 1500 DA humid *** SFL weather.

 

depends on track prep. usuallywhen i go track prep is little to non existent

 

I agree I usualy see 121-123 at our local track from them.

 

I agree the z will see 121-123 traps in average air on drag radials on a street wheel. Ive seen that happen over and over. Ive also seen well driven ZR1s not trap over 130 in average air on DRs.

GT500 - 11.6-11.8 at 118-121
C6z - 11.4-11.6 at 121-123

Assuming both guys can work a clutch and are on equal tire. Sounds like Automach might be on a 15 inch wheel so he may have 60 ft advantage... but the bias ply (if thats what he has) will cost him mph in the back half

 

I've seen them go 123 on stock tires. hell I've seen c5 Z06 go 118 bonestock. You should try one of those first autoqueef.

All in driver. I have seen Z06's run great and poorly. Depends on driver. I have seen them trap 118-124 with just tire. Average prep and OK driver it will be best of 121. Good driver best of 123. Great 125. Of course here people only post best drivers on great prep. Who would thing a ZR1 would trap 124's and run a 12. Track.was great. Right after his pass I ran 10.6 with a 1.5 60ft.

 

A C6 Z on a tire is a 125mph car in the hands of someone who can drive worth a ****. A C5 Z06 will trap 115-116 all day at roughly the same weight. What do you think a C6 Z with ~90whp more will do? LOL

At Sacramento Raceway Park I've seen them trap 123-125 on street tires many occasion. Heck, even the magazines were trapping that.

Nice time for only two runs. I would think more track time you should see high 11s and 120+ trap speed.

Yea I think it had a 11sec pass in it if I got another chance. I droped almost 4 tenths on 2 passes. The mph was low imo. I was talking to my tuner and I think it is retarding timing from inlet temps. Next time it hits the track going to go a little more agressive on the tune and it should gain a few mph. Also limiter is set at 6300 so 6100 shifts suck when it should be shifted at ~6400.This is due to injectors needing to be upgraded.

 

He had some good trap. I didn't see he was on ccw's. I thought Z06 was just on DR's.

Your car ran right where it should for mods. You could got a little better ET. But trap is right really.

Also on that note the 125mph trap you thought would get. Now lets see your slips.
