True, but evan has a hot boss and he can drive. Z may have been in for a tough one with a bad driver. If anyone cares I ran a 13 5.0 m6 with my 09 z06 a month ago. From 10mph to around 110mph I put 8-10 lengths on it and i was just starting the massacre. Got to chat, dude was cool as hell and kept saying cars were in a different class. I beat a stockish 2001 z06 by around five or six cars in a similar style run (great driver). C6z really start moving midway through 3rd gear.

I ran into a c6z06 on the highway today
. No one behind us, no one in front of us.... straight road for a solid mile. I pull up next to him... look over at him....hes looking dead straight... i throw him a quick rev...nothing...i down shift...nothing....i beep....nothing. ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME!! He wouldnt budge...

I had the exact same thing happen to me the other day with a Red Boss 302, guy wouldn't even look over and he had to hear me; I was at around 4500-5K RPMs in 2nd for a while and my car is loud as hell. It was 2 AM and zero other cars on the highway. I have been waiting to run a Boss for a while now.

Thanks.. Yea i raced my buddies 13 m6 gt as well... from a dig... and i started back.... it wasnt pretty, even with my car having useless traction lol. Any mods to the Z?

Maybe, if I have a new set of heads on by then. Joking, I hope. I posted a thread on corvetteforum, I've got a nasty valvetrain tapping noise, not a lifter, I'll know soon I hope. Nice ride, man.

Better get those heads looked at. A friend of mine dropped a valve in his Z06 and had to replace the block and went with different heads while he was in there. Very expensive endeavor for him unfortunately. GM's sodium filled valves in the LS7=no bueno.
