I'd guess that slomaro weighs 1klb more than my jeep that has two fully suspended live axles, steel wheels etc etc etc

the zl1 vert weighs a good 50lbs more than my full sized convertibe with a full frame/c6 auto/9in rear/big block and all steel body with only weight reduction being the wheels and exhaust.......of course the zl1 also does a lot of things my car cant do but they are pretty damned heavy for a camaro!

The zl1 will heat soak, I see it on the dyno. They will climb 20-40* on iats after 1 4th gear pull about 7 seconds long. So does the ctsv though and when u pulley them, at least with upper and lower, they soak even worse if you don't put a decent heat exchanger on it.

My car with bolt ons felt as fast or quicker than a stock Zl1. That's a lot of driveline to turn and too much weight.

I pulled the wheels about 2-3 inches with just bolt ons in my manual 5.0. Work-in-progress seen it. Huge 5-6k luanches do wonders. WBT pulls wheels also in his car and several others in their 5.0 with bolt ons. here soe that leave pretty hard.

And all these cars cut 1.5X 60ft's.

I am the owner of the 5.0, didn't red light you can see the win light come on in left lane announcer was saying the camaro is just watching the mustang red lights. Below is a video someone else took earlier in the night against a Z06.

Nice run bro I love the way the ZL1 looks but for that kind of money they should move out way better. Most of the rich guys that own em can't drive worth a **** either. I have yet to have one come close to me even modded with DRs.

Congrads on beating 2 high horsepower cars racing on street tires! I dont even like lineing up at the track against cars racing on street tires and I'm on drag radials. But a win is a win!
