While I agree that being on regular street tires is not match up against a car on drag radials, you guys are doing some serious reaching...even claiming that he red lit, when you can see that he got the win light when he crossed the finish line.

I think it was a clean win, and very believable once he said what his true mods were. Definitely more than a bolt on car. Zl1s have never been impressive to me, and I work at a chevy dealership...lol. They make good power but it takes alot more to move a zl1.

Funny how people interpret that i am excited i beat that ZL1. It was just the car that lined up behind me. However the ZL1 owner and friends were so confident they would win even on a street tire that they came up and asked me if i wanted to bet. Of course i took the bet.
As for ET i hit the brakes at 330' it went 7.2.. at 65MPH. Car is tuned by swanson performance.
I have nothing against any mopar or chevy, i went with ford because i like 1/4 mile racing and i have not see any other car go as fast for so little money. Ford got it right with the new coyote motor.
And yes the roush is a bolt on blower that can be bought over the counter at a ford dealer since they sell it on the roush car. My car is daily driven and still has factory airbox since i am in CA i keep the car CARB legal

i think his point is more so that the blower is the same kit that comes on the factory roush car. With the roush, you spend 60k to get to call your supercharged coyote...stock.
