Man, where exactly is this going down? RI or CT?
I'm from central MA, and we just got dumped on yesterday
Likely delaying pulling out the Z06 at least a few more weeks, if not a month or more. We have to not only deal with snow melt, but also all the sand/salt dumped on the roads.
But if you guys get together regularly all season, I will have to come down and have some friendly runs

It's a 2006 with a cam, milled heads, FAST/102TB, CAI, header's, Akrapovic exhaust, and supporting mods. Put down around 556whp on a mustang dyno.
Haven't had it to the track yet, none close by me.

My cousin has a 13 5.0, with bolt ons, runs pretty strong. He's down in NJ, quite a hike for him to come to CT.
I don't know any local Z owner's, haven't been out for any cruises, or car's & coffee, but am looking to hook up with some.
Besides the car being Yellow, it also has flames on it, so it must intimidate others from playing with me. I have only had a couple of bikes play. I'm 1-1 with them.

Yes sir. Thank you, you don't have a bad steed yourself.

Yes, it does fly! Hopefully it is putting out a few more ponies, as the 102TB and colder plugs were added afterwards, and have allowed for a few degrees more timing
The biggest problem if you want to call it that, is getting the car to stick below 65mph. It has the Michelin PSS rubber on it, and unless it is a warmer 65 plus, it has issues with spinning from a roll. Which is another reason I don't bother with taking the car out below 50 degrees, as that seems to be the threshold of not having fun anymore.
We definitely gotta hookup, I used to be a gear head and hung out to the wee hours of the morning for many years, where I grew up in Northern NJ. Kinds miss those days of
friendly competition.

We also liked going to Newark, and Rt21.
But my favorite was Spring Valley, NY. Just over the border, at the very end of the Parkway. Many a Sunday nights into the wee hours of Monday were spent there.
There is not much I miss from NJ, but the car hangouts seemed to be more frequent, and having Island, Englishtown, and Atco for dragstrips.
I actually grew up in Hawthorne, and lived for a number of years in Wayne.

My other cousin lived in Lyndhurst, so I definitely recall running there, it was the last light by the Burger King, heading towards Rt3, right?
