haha thanks.. im looking to make up for my last abortion of a track visit. Not trying to break a record or anything... but def would like to do well. Plus my speed shop is trailoring me there and its a test and tune only. Im throwing everything i can at it atleast once.

 

More than anything I just want to get it running solid. The trans should be able to take anything I can through at it with the current motor/turbo setup.
Hey I saw your thread with the welds on the GN that you were thinking about going with. My 9yr old kid approves and I have to agree with him.

 

You should do well. You can shift like nobody I know. Get some seat time in, and I don't think 11.3's will be a problem at 119-120. I don't know much about the Boss's, but from your WHP numbers, that's my guestimate.

Your car is going to be awesome! Dyno vids please . Thanks for the compliments, I love the Welds. I am saving my money for a full set with tires. Looks like it will set me back about $1.2k just for the wheels themselves, probably another $800 on tires. I'm not sure whether I should stick with the 15's pictured, or go with the 17's. Both would look awesome.

 

Nice... i too feel my trans will take more thrashing. I changed the shifter and re-installed the pistol grip along with the braided clutch line. Was effortless to put it in second at 7700 rpm.. though it was a slow shift...but there was still barely any resistance. Gonna beat it down one more time at the track on april 6th then its tear down time for a syncro job. Then its time for another full season of some good street races

 

Thanks appreciate. Im actually thinking ill get more MPH out of it then that...but not go as fast on the ET...not yet anyway. The car had another 2-2.5mph in it the way i brought it to the track last time, i just had so many issues in the first 200 ft, it just wasnt worth it to continue. But the car is up around 30-35whp and down about 225lbs since then. 60lbs of which came from the drivetrain, so i hope that helps the car 60ft better.

Yes i did... a good suspension/tire setup works wonders. Grab some strange shocks and good tire.

 

Prob do sunday then.. looks like it will be a bit colder but the sun will atleast be up

 

most of the snow is gone, all that remains is the snow piles. still got a long way to go with the rain so hopefully it gets rid of it all. i can do sat or Sunday it does not matter.

 

well since saturday is more rain, gives another day to melt/wash away. Its still only tuesday... so should be good. Im anxious

this sounds like an awesome meet. i wish you weren't so far away. i'd come play in my stock z and maybe have my gf tag along in her 5th gen.

 

My house is minutes off the pike, there is very little snow left as others have said. I imagine todays rain will take care of a lot of it, but with the weather turning colder it may not melt as fast after today. Not to mention they may treat the roads because of the threat of overnight freezing.

Either way, id love to be a spectator (slow car/brand new clutch so not broken in) if it is sunday since I wont be around saturday.
