Not while the ZL1 is on 15psi. That 408 (all motor) held its own against a decently boosted car though. I'm impressed.

For the $$$ the ZL1 is wayyyyy is a WASTE for a race car....
3800lbs is close to what a 2010 LS3 SS ways, Cam/LT's/FAST and a 150shot on a $36,200 5th Gen + $6k-$8k in mods = ZL1 Killer!
Great cars either way just wish GM wouldve put the LS9 in the ZL1...
If I was buying new 1LE 5th gen with LS7 option FTMFW.

I just wanna go on record that your vids are just flat JAM UP in most cases! KUDOS!
Also, it looked to me like the ZL1 would've romped that 4th gen on top end, like by forever... and a day! It just took too long to get up to speed... drag racing on the open highway kinda sucks like that.

Good running ZL1 actually. When I was in LA racing a few weeks back there was a stock one that ran some 11.9s back to back, auto car.

looked like that ss sprayed at first and cut it off in the first race cause that zl1 come back like he had hit the n20. i dont see that zl1 having a sudden burst of power like that.
but that ss on 150 move on for sure lol.
