yup, i didn't think it would take this long. i ordered them the feb 26th....

heads up, best price i found was hinsonsupercars.com.... there price per wheel was slightly higher then some venders but they offer free shipping so after factoring that in i saved about $100 going thru them...

the wait isn't was killing me its looking at the tracking number everyday and it still saying the same dam thing... im no where near ready for installing them so its not a huge deal but i just want to know the expected delivery day so i know ill be home... pissing me off

Yeah that is what I'm worried about. Too many friends doing turbo builds now to resist when the time comes near and I'm ready

Wish you luck on it holding up. Just run E85 or do a meth kit

Cool man, thanks for the heads up on where to buy them. Good luck with getting that tracking number too. I always get so pissed off when a tracking number doesn't update!

This motor is LEAGUES ahead of the old one! It's funny how the heads on the SBC cost more than this entire 5.3 did...this is one of the reasons I keep preaching to people to not even waste their time with SBC stuff these days!

Thanks man! And just FYI, this bird (black 91) is my brother's car. Mine is the orange 86 in my sig. And definitely do the boost. You won't look back haha.

Haha I meant the car in your sig
Both are really sweet cars regardless!
And Im actually just waiting on another car to DD.
Im going to try to use a fourth gen kit(huron speed), and modify to fit where needed. I mess with it now and then and it actually has me kinda confident it'll work

Mine? Whatever I want it to based on the boost I run

But in all seriousness, I would guess it's around 500-515 rwhp with the current very safe tune and 11 psi.

Interesting in making a few runs april 13th? If yours is slower then before, and mines faster...might make for a decent race haha

I'd love to, but unfortunately my car is on jackstands since I sold my rims and tires...and now I find out theres like a 4 week wait for weld RT-S wheels. But thats about my luck most of the time.

No prob... and thats exactly why i went with the race stars. I do like the RTS wheels better but i like the new direct drill design and they weigh exactly the same. The black chrome of the race stars is very nice in person and i think looks shitty online. I wasnt gonna lose all of march and april waiting for wheels to ship..f that
