Thanks for the words of encouragement Drew, I want gears now.

Thanks, I did my best to bang gears with Michael Gluemaker over here.
But trust me, he's probably more worried about how lowering his car might hurt that 60 ft.

Nothing like hanging your arm out the window during a race... WTF I think that's the first time I've seen that one.

I can't stress enough how big of a difference 4:10 gears will make over 3:42's, proof is in this video.
That will probably be my next mod when I get a Ford/Moser 9"
Stock gears or not why is your cammed car only trapping 112? I highly doubt he's making more torque than you, maybe done on a different dyno or even a different day.

The 02 runs strong 114 is about all I would expect from a full bolt on ls1 m6 with gears.

Good runs though

I think you meant the 01', my car is the 02'.

Every car is different, not every car runs the same cammed or not (**** load of cam variations).
I have a small cam (222/226 115 LSA), regardless I am aware 112 is a low trap for my mods.

I do have 150k on my motor to his 85k fwiw.
Regardless his car has always ran strong for the mods and he is a pretty damn good driver. I'm not the worst shifter either.

Can't win em all. My tuner wants to go to the track and data log each run to try and figure out the low trap speeds.

At the end of the day we all wanna win, but it's all for fun too right?

I'll be helping rob with the 01 get the car to run 11.80s at 115 with just bolt ons and a m6

So a Bolt-on LS1 M6 takes a H/C/I SRT8 Charger.

InB4 Niterider and RedHotG8

Ls1rob - car runs well for bolt-ons. Lowering and tint will make it look better, but not perform any better, lol!

You have another issue besides gears.

Very very doable. Good luck!

Notch's mild bolt-on ls1 did 11.96 @ 116.xx. The t56 was nicked up a bit not allowing clean shifts. If not for that a we woulda probably seen a 11.8 @ 117

How is he getting that kind of mph, what crazy weight reduction did you guys do?

Lol curious to what the whole setup is, weight, power mods, suspension etc. You can PM me if you don't want to post it

How much weight is full weight for you guys? I keep seeing people with 3600lb f-bodys which can make a big difference.

If you were to do some of those mods your car would EASILY trap 117ish if you were at notch's weight, probably with less gear though.

No clue I've never weighed my car.

Yea they do some tricky stuff I think lol. I would definitely be out of gear though, right now I run out right around 115mph.

Id throw 3.73s at it, thats what notch runs. Did you talk to Hio already? Most of his weight reduction is just removing old parts with new parts. Only thing majorly cut up on his car are the bumper supports. Which yields about 20-25lbs tops.
