Good runs. . The car may have had some internal mods before he bought the Z06 because 470+whp doesnt equate to 505bhp...

The car has 4k miles and was a one owner car and that one owner was 80....my car made 450/417 on the same Dyno and I now have a varraram so my car might make 460ish and he walks me.

we arent doubting the hp it makes compared to yours as it shows it is faster. However...474whp for a factory stock z06... well....thats very generous. Like I said on my dyno jet... they make 430s stock. I doubt theres a 40whp real time difference.

So what do you suppose his car makes given my power vs his power on the same Dyno and he puts 2+ cars on me? We have looked the car over and it hasn't been touched.

like i said... the results of your race shows the power levels are correct. Im not saying otherwise... what i am saying... Is it that car has something done to it to make 474whp... or its just a more generous dyno. Not saying it as a dig or insult. But that might be a record for whp on a stock z06. I think AWDTBSS has heads and exhaust but stock cam... and makes 480swhp. He can correct me if im wrong obviously.

My bone stock ls2 vette made 355/351 on this Dyno then with bolt ons and no tune it made 373/364 and after l92 heads 222/232 581/579 112+4 it made 450/417....I'd say its far from generous

Myself and many others on here consider that rather low for a h/c car

explains it, which means the dyno does read high and you are probably around 420-430rwhp on a normal dyno. That plus the torque and weight advantage of the Z gives him the edge.

My car has big and Little's on it now, with all 18s it weighed 3160...the z has no weight advantage over me...and there is no way that my car only made 420-430 and hung with that lambo

I'm agreeing with Sticks n Stones here. It's either that or that ZO6 has a mod or two

Since your a 6-speed and not some weak/parasitic A4 auto, I think your numbers are low. Heck my bolt-on/tuned C6 made 401 whp. A cam alone should put you in the 430 range. I think 450 is conservative for your car which leads me to believe that Z06 is either a factory freak or internally modded in some way (maybe it's valve's dropped with the previous owner and the heads were modified). I'd be interested to see what people on the corvetteforum think about your friends Z06.

Maybe he has a tune? Or what do most stock Zs make on that dyno because they don't vary very much normal reading dyno should be from 430-450whp. Ya I made 487whp with full bolt ons and heads but different dynos of course

like i said the previous owner was an 80 year old man that never drove the car, and we have gone over the car several times and it hasnt been touched. Pretty much all of the cars that have been in any of my videos corys cobra or his brothers have all been on the same dyno and it is a very average reading dyno. many other stock z's have been on the same dyno and make the average 440-450 hp...the tuner was very impressed
