Default 2013 1LE vs 2014 5.0

Friendly run between my brother and I. My car is a 2013 1LE with NPP and a LS9 cam(dont hate, $100 cam and 4 hours labor for 25whp...trying to go undetected at the dealer ). I dyno'd 394 with just a CAI but did not have the intake on in this video. My car is also untunned. His car is a '14 5.0 m6 with a flowmaster axle back. Up top I start to pull barely. With the CAI Im sure it would have been a more steady pull. Enjoy

Thanks...mid pipes, tune and 100 shot are next. Hopefully I will be able to hang with those pesky bolt-on Boss's. The car feels awesome, honestly it feels like my 02 z06. Its on rails for sure.

car looks awesome. I love how they left the hood flat black. To me that is much more a race car look then a painted hood

1LE is what the SS should've been to begin with. Good run OP! With a tune and that intake you should pull pretty good on that 5.0.

No tune yet. The car has been in the shop already with a broken axle and some other warranty work. My goal is 440-450whp without voiding the warranty. I don't want to add lt just yet. Im at 394 with just the cai. Most guys are getting 25-35whp with just the ls9 cam swap. Because the cam is so small, you don't pick much up with a tune. Ill add high flow mid pipes which are good for another 20whp and a tb and I should be right at my goal. I will eventually tune it but for now I'll keep the warranty in tact. Unless the motor grenades then it will be hard for anyone to tell I did a cam swap.

I was able to hold the phone against the steering wheel with one hand and shift with the other. It works out nice. Lol
