Threatening rain kept a lot of people at home so it quickly goes from A Team to C team at best.
Enjoy!

Man... Thurik's GS rolls the **** out... Considering it was down 100hp, going thru an auto and spinning and it still ran within 1-2 car lengths of the Z06 is really saying something.. That Z06 seemed like it was hookin pretty well, even from the 40 mph roll (which is hard to believe)... Since he shredded a belt, maybe he was getting some belt slip the whole time or something but.....
The GS put up a damn good showing against a car with 100hp more...

I believe the Z06 was starting in 3rd every run, that's why he hooked. He's been having issues shredding belts for a while now but he says it holds 21 psi no issue until the belt goes.... It's going back up to Dallas Performance soon to get that fixed.

82-93. Lol
But for real it's in the older range, pre 91 judging by the grille and even older since it came with the iron duke from the factory. The entire truck plus swap ran him less than $4000 so he's doing good, it won't be stock for much longer, he just got it together not that long ago but I'm sure some sort of power to both rear tires is in order after that display of open diff he put on against the Lightning lol.

Not sure if there's a build thread but all of the important things are listed in the video, plus lots and lots of tuning... People always ask why it's so fast when it dynos lower than other cars it hangs with/beats. Simply, that car is tuned amazingly, plus it's an auto so the numbers are lower than a manual car setup.

Awesome that he has his tune done very well to surprise a lot of people. Saw the video of him vs the RSI1000 Viper

The Novi would take him based on my ricer math... The Novi C5 took the Grand Sport by about two cars from a 60 punch and the Z06 and GS were dead nut from a 60 with no traction issues on the GS's side, which was his downfall in the first two races.
Should have the Novi back in town soon for some more fun, stay tuned of course, you know I'll post up when it happens!
