An F10 M5 Stock is faster than a C6 Z06 Bone Stock from a roll?

You had a 600whp 5th gen. Also when you posted it, your buddy's M5 was an E60 which is a heck of a lot slower than an F10 M5. F10 M5's like I said are an unusual car. I don't know if it's BMW guys getting a large number of fluke wins or if everyone they race suck ***** lol.

An E60 M5 would not pull a stock z if at all until 150+ where the z has to go into fifth which is a bad gear for them. An F10 might do the same but again not until speeds got stupid. This video seems off for that reason. This m5 was probably tuned.

It can run well from a roll...it only traps 119!
From a tech standpoint the F10 is an overweight GTR with RWD and a better trans.
And lol @ the people discussing displacement. The horsepowers don't know what size engine they came from, and displacement is even less relevant when there are 2 snails hanging off the motor.

F10 tuned couldn't even pull this 335i lol and I trapped 4-5 mph higher than this guy

He also doesn't say what he trapped in that post you cited.

In a post or 2 later he said he trapped 152-153, my bad.
Tuned and catback can't even beat a car trapping less than me but a stock m5 can beat a stock Z I don't see it

I don't see why this is so hard to believe. Cutout the bullshit hero passes where 47 parameters were adjusted and the car was run in -2000DA to get that 128 trap, and you have how many serious Z06 guys going for that record?
Z06s around here are generally 122-124mph cars, bone stock and driven. The M5 has a good deal more power, a lot more torque, M-DCT transmission which is better than that in a GTR. The old M5 had a higher top speed than a Z06 with the same power and 1000lbs more weight, so at some point the old M5 would start pulling on a Z06. Now add a better trans, 60hp and 150lbs of torque vs the old one.
Trap speeds don't mean a win from a roll. How many times have you seen GTRs beat a car that out-traps them?

How many times have you seen a 133mph bike beat 140mph cars on the roll? .
I love me some C6Z06... but they are NOT 128mph factory cars.
Also... vettes ALWAYS trap crazy because of how easy it is for them to get up to speed in the first 330ft.... its a lot harder for a 4klb car to get moving early. My personal experience in this was my GTO vs a friends built C4. He trapped 124 at NED and 127 at Cecil. My GTO trapped 120 at NED. I pulled him 10 out of 10 times on the roll... everytime.

If i had a C6Z i'd go on the m5board and find a friendly fellow that's not a ***** to do some pulls here in California. In the old days when debates like these turn up I always like to end the speculation.
We don't know the elevation where the runs took place in the OP's video, it could be that the elevation was pretty high thus favoring the FI'ed M5?
Here is the pathetic m5board video of a "tuned" z06 vs the F10 M5
The shifts in the Z06 are pathetic as it was pulling the M5 in gear but losing lots of ground with each shift. We need Evan in that Z06.
I wouldn't be surprised if the new M5/M6 can stay with/pull a stock C6Z...and even if it doesn't all it takes is a tuned one to destroy a stock C6Z anyways. All that luxury and grunt; very impressive.

I would of ran that tuned one, but he was obviously sandbaggin because his car said 560hp (crank HP is what we were suppose to be listing) on the window even tho he was tuned and catback I guess. I wasn't gonna bother with A stock one

Correct. Currently a bunch of tuners are trying to crack the M5 ECU further and see what they can extract. Some big tuner shops are also building turbo upgrades for these cars. It would suck getting pulled on by an unassuming luxury car, that's for sure.
