Headed to dinner with wife turn out and Z came around bend. We both go same way get on highway. Him behind me I get around traffic he follows. I get over after but he hangs back. Then hit traffic again this time he comes around and nails it and I follow. We clear traffic again. I get around him and play a little. He finally lines up at 60. I see him down shift. I hear one honk and he nails it. I do same but he is out a car from hit. I hold him there till around 150 where he gained another car and I let out. We hit traffic so couldn't get a clean run. I was on street tune of 640whp. Z had some growl but not super loud like cam.

 

Sounds like yall need to rematch w a little more coordianted race. Everytime I see a car worth a race its always going the opposite direction as me.....prob a good thing lol. Late for dinner w the wife? Haha

 

She dont get off till 7. We meeting buddy and his wife. He has a h/c/sc G8.

But Z had wife with him. It was impromptu race. He lives by me so I will watch for him.

And makes me want to DD on my race tune. But I like my 23mpg compared to 10...lol.

 

That's a huge difference in mpg!!! I was just bitching about filling up at my reg station bc they just changed to 10%E and my mpg went down 2mpg. Damn gov't!!!

Lol..my street tune makes 640whp. Race tune makes over 700whp. Even more if im on my bigs littles instead heavy 20's.

Im a car guy. I want a vette next.

 

I would love a vette, but keep getting the 'how is that practical' conversation. Its eventually going to result in, 'its practial bc I'm making payments on it !!'

I'm sure once I get my 99 SS roller project going I will forget about all this. Too many current priorities. Good thing I still have my youth on my side......for now.

I was told two different Z run around that are blue. One has some bolt ons and 75 shot. And then other is basically stock with a procharger. I didnt here no bov or anything when he let out of it. So who knowsm people could be talking out their *** also.

nobody wants to play with my vette. in the 1 year of owning it only 1 e60 m5 played with me and both runs were crap runs kuz the guy/gal couldn't understand what 3 honks meant. I live in socal, see "nice cars" all the time but nobody ever bites. sorry /rant lol

 

All the cars I see on the road.. that I would like to mess with.... are always going the other way.

Is it a sign of racing addiction when everytime you merge onto the highway you are scanning to see if another car to race is going the same way?

 

Lol..I just ran a Cls550 AMG a week ago..it was bad for him. Event on street tune. Lol

 

Cls550 isn't a real amg it prolly just had some package they put the badge on for but they still have 400hp. Ya I could see u making him look like he went in reverse lol

 

My bad cls55amg looks like still only have 469hp. Its funny cs same one tried to run my buddies tvs gt500 and got slaughtered.
