He got a car length and the hit, from a rear wheel drive car and lost, end of story.
I agree with this but people making comments like "R888's are drag radials" is just retarded.

It does by trying to boost up the opposing car (the Porsche in this case) as if it's this big monster that is supposed to be good at this type of racing.

The Foxbody won, yes we all get that, but this is a discussion and the person who posted the video stated that R888's were drag radials which is incorrect. So I guess someone shouldn't correct a detail that isn't fact right?

Another thing, congrats that the mustang is hooking on the street, you don't see them doing that every day.

R888s are very close to drag radials, as already said. Don't even try to act like it is close to a regular street tire in regards to traction, especially on an awd car making what, 600hp? It's more of a drag radial then most if not any other tire out there. Quit getting your panties in a wad. Porsche guy should have come prepared with slicks or drag radials (well he basically did but anyways) on all four corners. Instead he got his *** cheeks clapped by a lowly little ferd and you can't stand it.

So do you think if the Porsche had legit drag radials on the car it would of made a difference?

So you see fox bodies hooking up every day? His point is that it takes work. Not every mustang is doing it. Most are blowing off their tires.

The Bold... I was saying the EXACT SAME **** when the GTR raced the stock Viper (that somehow made 600+whp stock allegedly) Its boosting up the opposing car to make the other look better. And its bullshit.

As for the italic, I've seen some pretty stout 60 fts out of em but I get where you're coming from.

I think a full 1/4 mile race would have done him in.

Agreed.

None of the cars this mustang raced were even stopping his pull at the 1/8 mile.

The GTR and porsche would get demolished in the 1/4 also. The vette might have started pulling back but who knows.

Unless all the cars were letting off at the 1/8 mile mark, he was putting lengths on all the cars I've seen him race.
