That's what I thought when I first read it. Then at 2nd thought, have you forgotten how long it takes a stock F-body to go from 80 to 100? When I drive a nearly stock F-body I'm almost shocked how slow they really feel.

OP got beat because he's wondering how in the hell he only put a car on a V6 from 80-100, worrying about a bad tune and coming on LS1Tech asking how it wasn't worse. Meanwhile, the other guy has completely forgot that he lost because he's not sweating it.

It's true... then again a 5th gen v6 is going to be even worse.

they are all about high end power and with full bolts on's the v6's are running low- mid 13's. auto and manual. the autos arent a junk 4 speed anymore they are a tuned 6speed all about keeping her in power band.

more than capable of doing what you said with bolt ons

It might have been to 110 or so? I was just disappointed in my baby. After I find the eng sens fuse, it seems to be running much better.

I'm not trying to sound like a douche, but 13's don't sound that great. The 113 sounds good. In full stock trim my car ran 13.5 @ 104. I now have full exhaust with a cut out.

And I guess I didn't tell the whole story, the very first race I got about to his door and he punched and held me off all the way till 100.

Gearing can do it as well... Being caught on the wrong gear can easily put you in that situation.
