No probably would have went 131 because Hio traps ~99 in the 1/8th.

The fact that the GT500 is as close as it is is a testament to how much work was put into upgrading an 8 year old chassis.
What's funny is they will list EVERY part as their excuse for why the GT500 is faster..."Psh Ford had to use a waaaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger blower and like 8 times the boooooooost to beat the Camaro!!"...but don't mention the SRA vs IRS when they have their handling circle-jerk.

Save money over mmr short block. Buy an aluminator. Sell stock engine. Aluminator engines have held 950whp and ran 8's. I called mmr. 6 week wait. And time upgrade stuff its almost 6k. Alminunator can be had for 7980 shipped. Cheaper/ faster labor. And make most money back selling stock engine.

The GT500 is faster because it weighs quite a bit less and comes stock with more boost. Those are not excuses, they are facts.

Chevy still OWNS Ford in the drag racing department. Another fact.

What are you hoping to make with the aluminator. The compression is 9:5:1 correct?

Put some good drivers in the GT500 who are not scared to push the car and the gap will widen quite a bit. The Camaro is just easier to drive near ITS limit than the GT500. The Shelby takes more ***** and skill to get what you need out of it. If you soent 17yrs with a road racing team you should know this if you were unbiased.

now only if ford can do something about its tires and you make a very good point IMO

Around 750whp on 93 and 3.3 pulley(13.5lbs) and 850whp on racetune. And it still be super safe instead on edge like my stock engine was.

The weak part on all built coyotes is the block. Its onky good for about 1000whp. Unless do L&M tornado block or mmr sleeved or filled block. L&M reenforces blocks. They have made arou d 1300whp. Ran 8.4@163 in Green Gooblin and set new street coyote record. Mmr filled block is good they say for over 2000hp but being filled its not streetable no more.

i agree its like the race of the Zr1 against the new Viper a lot of people are scared to push that Viper to its limits for a good reason but Chevy has the right electronics to help the drivers out. I'm a GM fan don't get me wrong and ill talk a lot of smack for fun but no one knows how good a car is till it is pushed to its limits.

Mmr just went 6.03@2xxmph on a modular motor. And another guy went 5.9 in Australia.

I know what I told you from watching the vids. Your barking up the wrong tree to try and discredit me on this. The car is a fight to drive, that's easy to see. I'd bet at the end of 5 laps the 1LE would be in front of on it. The ZL was already like 3 seconds faster around VIR, with 80 less hp and more weight. The Z/28 is gonna be sick. I bet it bitch slaps cars 3x it's cost.

Its going to cost 60k+ so will not be must to wax at 3x the cost. Lol...

and the gt500 beat the zl1 at other tracks. Actual owners on camaro5 saying they getting beat by new gt500's.

the z28 should be nasty though. Hopefully ford will follow suite and do the rumored 500hp mach1

No one gives a **** about pro mod cars in the street section except you autoohio.....lol

Double check if they got the issues worked out with the aluminator. I was looking into them to replace the the iron termi motor in the notch. They had some issues with them and it skeered me off. IDK what the issue was but I found multiple posts on it.
