A kill is a kill. I do however think the ZL1 performed well for being stock and weighing over 2 tons. Driver mod would go a long way to closing the gap on those runs and a few simple mods could give it the edge.

exactly my thoughts. My car, however, will pick up the missing 75+rwhp when I finally get everything working right so he should remain unhappy for awhile. For what it's worth, a identical clone of my engine in another GTO (clone as in I told him every single part I used so he could copy my build, and used same builder) with a M6 but on bone stock airbox made 520rwhp when I put down my 435.
