That was at Buddscreek. And in the MD area we have a number of strips. MIR normally isnt like that. Crapital(capital) on the other hand, is ghetto as hell. And yes Capital is the raceway that Topgear visited on their east coast trip.

Prolly $3000 each, I don't know where this deal came from that if each party puts up $3000 it's a "$6000 race". No..... it's a $3000 race.

I know I guy who is serving 8 to 20 years for a street racing fatality. Lets keep it on the track!

1. It's usually multiple people putting up the money for the pot. 2. People don't give out mod lists in money races. 3. There is a TON of drug money in grudge racing. Easy come, easy go.

The Middle Man holds 6,000 Dollars in his hand, once it is handed to him, the money is locked. The only way to get any of it back is to win and that number is 6,000 ......not 3,000 not 4,500 not 5,500. They just had a race for 12,000 the other night so there goes that argument. Lol I don't collect on any of that, so I guess it doesn't really matter to me how much they race for.

Silly **** here. So, you put up $3,000, the other guy $3,000. You race, the winner MADE $3000 not $6000. It's a $3000 race, period.

SO if a guy walks up to you and says "You wanna race for a grand?" Do you bring a grand or $500??

Track still won't do you no good. Read the waiver you sign very carefully. It releases the track and the people who own/run the track from any liability. You run over somebody on the return road, you're going to jail. Your car flips over the rail, track is released since you and the person killed signed the waiver. You and the family of the person you killed, well thats another story. You will face a wrongful death suit in a minute.

Finally, somebody posts the info that what everybody else who doesn't street race needs to know.

I have seen pots as large as $54,000.00 a side, so $108k total. The original bet between the 2 racers was 10 grand. The rest came from side bets.

not that you wouldnt get hurt anywhere else putting up that kind of money and not paying but that area looks like searching for your body wouldnt be a priority.

ive heard in n jersey all the serious money racers are packing something. youll pay either way.

A serious street racer doesn't race until all the money is put up and handed to a neutral guy. A little of the pot is locked up at an earlier date so that way if either racer backs out the one who didn't back out gets the lock up money for his troubles of getting ready for the race. The night of the race is when all the money is put up.
