Yep, I'm aware that it'll run out much quicker. But when I put in the gears I never really intended it to be a "proper" quarter mile or track car. Just something for stoplight to stoplight blasts, and something I knew I'd have fun with. If I ever decide to make it into a serious weekend strip warrior, then believe me I'll re-gear it.

Not just now but been doing that since I know 2006 or so. I have a buddy that was in MM&FF cover page running 12.42 on 275/40/17 MT drag radials, electric water pump, tune, cai, 456 gears and skinnies. Maybe a few more things, can't really remember and he weighed like 3500lbs. He had the major driver mod and even Evan (the gum shoe of mm&ff) commented him on his driving. I know of several others that went twelve teens and high 11s without being gutted.

We all know what an embarrassment the 99-01 Cobra's were, that's why the 03-04 Cobra owners look down on them.
