Yep, I'm aware that it'll run out much quicker. But when I put in the gears I never really intended it to be a "proper" quarter mile or track car. Just something for stoplight to stoplight blasts, and something I knew I'd have fun with. If I ever decide to make it into a serious weekend strip warrior, then believe me I'll re-gear it.

Yea, just gearing and a tall tire alone I'd hope it'd at least net high 12's.

Mine went 12.8 at 111mph before a converter on the same monster truck tires with a 3.27. You'd prob put it on my old set up dude.

Nothing like making someone eat their words after they brag on and on about their car.

Not just now but been doing that since I know 2006 or so. I have a buddy that was in MM&FF cover page running 12.42 on 275/40/17 MT drag radials, electric water pump, tune, cai, 456 gears and skinnies. Maybe a few more things, can't really remember and he weighed like 3500lbs. He had the major driver mod and even Evan (the gum shoe of mm&ff) commented him on his driving. I know of several others that went twelve teens and high 11s without being gutted.

Yup, the blower on the 03-04 cars was just dead weight. The n/a cars can run the same times due to less weight from the blower, intercooler, and the Termi driver ego.

Good Kill OP, I agree with post #8 about making Mustang owners look bad. Oh well, I guess every car has its d-bags.

Guys a stock 2001 Cobra makes about 270 rwhp (320 fwhp) and has nowhere near the torque or broad powerband of the LS1. No surprise on the outcome here lol

I was speaking from the perspective of the 03-04 Cobra owner looking down on a N/A Cobra owner. Same phenomenon as the ls1 Fbody guys attitude towards lt1 owners.

Not to say it's not justified.

Its retarted to say that when that blower was responsible for giving the Terminator an additional 100whp and a full second 1/4 advantage over the 99/01 new edge Cobras.

We all know what an embarrassment the 99-01 Cobra's were, that's why the 03-04 Cobra owners look down on them.
